About
The International Criminal Court is an intergovernmental organisation and international tribunal seated in The Hague. Established in 2002 under the Rome Statute, it is the first and only permanent international court able to prosecute individuals for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression. It complements national judicial systems and can act only when national courts are unwilling or unable to prosecute. Its courtroom broadcasts can be watched on its web TV, its website and YouTube.
