About and privacy
About LiveRadar
LiveRadar is a non-commercial hobby project that helps you find live streams across many platforms and from official public bodies. LiveRadar does not host, record or re-stream any video. Every result links to the stream on its original platform or website.
Operator and contact
LiveRadar is run by StensioMediaEnterprise. Contact: info@stensiomedia.se.
Data sources
Stream listings come from the platforms' own public APIs and listings: YouTube (YouTube API Services), Twitch, Kick, Dailymotion, PeerTube (via SepiaSearch), Picarto, CHZZK, SOOP, SHOWROOM, YouNow and the Owncast directory. Schedules for official broadcasts come from the public websites and open data of the bodies concerned (for example data.riksdagen.se and regeringen.se). The register of official actors is based on Wikidata (CC0).
How ranking works
The default order, Hot now, shows what is popular right now. Viewer numbers are compared within each platform and also by absolute size, so a large audience counts for more than the top of a small platform. Streams that are growing quickly move up. Channels that broadcast news around the clock cannot fill the whole top of the list.
West first, the default audience, ranks European and North American streams higher. Nothing is filtered out, and Whole world ranks all regions equally. Official sources are marked “Official” but are not moved up because of it. YouTube streams are ranked without growth figures, as YouTube’s terms require.
When you search, the best match comes first. The tabs Rising fast, Just went live, Most viewers and Official only change the order or the selection.
YouTube Terms
LiveRadar uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube features of LiveRadar you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
Not affiliated
LiveRadar is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube, Google, Twitch, Kick, Dailymotion, Framasoft, Picarto, NAVER (CHZZK), SOOP, SHOWROOM, YouNow, Owncast or any of the public bodies listed. All trademarks belong to their owners, and every stream remains the property of its creator.
Terms of use
Last changed: 13 October 2026.
LiveRadar is a free, non-commercial service that helps you find live and upcoming streams. By using LiveRadar you accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
What LiveRadar does
LiveRadar lists streams from other platforms and websites and links to them. It does not host, record or re-stream any video. Every stream belongs to its creator and plays on the platform where it is published.
No guarantees
LiveRadar is provided as it is. We try to keep the listings correct and the site running, but availability and accuracy are not guaranteed: a stream may have ended, and a title, label, category or start time may be wrong.
Other platforms' terms
When you open a stream you leave LiveRadar, and the terms of that platform or website apply. Follow them when you watch there. For YouTube this is the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. By using the YouTube features of LiveRadar you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Fair use
Do not misuse the service. For example, do not scrape or download it at high rates, do not try to get around its limits, and do not try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to it. We may block traffic that does.
Removal
If you want a channel, stream or page removed from LiveRadar, contact info@stensiomedia.se.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this section shows the last change. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law.
Privacy policy
LiveRadar uses YouTube API Services to find YouTube streams. This policy describes what LiveRadar itself collects and processes.
What we collect about visitors
LiveRadar sets no cookies and has no accounts. The server does not keep a log of visits. To limit abuse, the server keeps a short-lived counter per IP address in memory only. It is never written to disk and is cleared after at most 10 minutes. The server keeps anonymous daily and hourly totals of how many times each kind of page or request was handled (for example the start page, a category page or a search). The totals contain no IP address, browser details or other identifier. Daily totals are kept for 31 days and hourly totals for 7 days, and they are visible only to the operator. The channels and categories you follow are stored only in your own browser (local storage). They are sent with a request to show what is live, and the server does not keep them. Searches and the start page also send your browser's language code (for example sv), so that streams in your language are ranked a little higher. The server uses it only to rank that response and does not keep it.
Optional personalisation
The Following view has a switch called Learn from what I open. It is off by default, and nothing is counted or stored until you turn it on. When it is on, your browser keeps simple counters per category, language and platform: opening a stream counts once, starring its channel counts three times, and following a category counts five times. The counters are stored only in your browser (local storage), and there is no list of the streams, channels or searches behind them. They are used to show a row called Picked for you on the start page. To load that row, your browser sends the server an ordinary search for your one or two top categories (and your main language, if most of what you open is in one language). The counters themselves are never sent, and the server handles the search like any other search and does not keep it. Turning the switch off stops the counting and hides the row but keeps the counters. The button Clear what was learned in the Following view deletes them.
Third-party images
Stream thumbnails load directly from the platforms (for example i.ytimg.com for YouTube and static-cdn.jtvnw.net for Twitch). Your browser therefore contacts these services, and they can see your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply. For YouTube this is the Google Privacy Policy: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy
Multiview lets you watch up to four streams side by side with each platform's own player (YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Owncast and PeerTube). The streams you choose for it are stored only in your browser (local storage). Nothing is loaded from a platform until you choose Play here on a player. Only then does your browser connect to that platform, which may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own privacy policy: Google (YouTube), Twitch, Kick. Owncast and PeerTube players come from the server that hosts the stream. LiveRadar itself still sets no cookies, and your choice is not remembered: each player needs its own click.
What we process about streamers and public bodies
We show public information published on the source platforms: channel names, stream titles, viewer and follower counts, thumbnails, and short excerpts from the websites of public bodies. The purpose is to make public live streams findable. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). All data comes from publicly accessible sources listed above. Stream listings are kept for at most about 6 hours after a stream was last seen. Data from YouTube API Services is never stored for more than 30 days.
Your rights and removal
If you want your channel or a page removed from LiveRadar, or want to exercise your rights under the GDPR, contact info@stensiomedia.se. We will remove the listing and prevent it from returning. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.
Adult content
Streams marked 18+ by the platforms are hidden by default. Showing them requires you to confirm that you are 18 or older. LiveRadar relies on the platforms' own labels and cannot guarantee that they are correct.
For website owners (crawler)
LiveRadar's crawler identifies itself as "LiveRadar" (formerly "live-browser") with a link to this page. It follows robots.txt, fetches at most one page at a time per site, and only reads pages on the public body's own domain. To block it, add a User-agent: LiveRadar group to your robots.txt, or contact info@stensiomedia.se.
